Thank you for highlighting this continuing problem which in my experience of talking with people causes confusion and the unnecessary cutting out of foods thus leaving nutritional “gaps” in the diet.

Pharmacists are highly trained professionals and may provide a much needed allergy service that is not available from anyone else in some communities

The peanut allergy vaccine is still some time off, and unlikley to be available to the general public for another 5 years.

One should bear in mind that the vast majority of asthma patients will continue to get enormous benefit from their salbutamol inhalers which have a fantastic long term safety profile and only a minority will find it ineffective.
